Job Overview

Greenlantern IT Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Mobile Application Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Flutter and Kotlin.

The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. The candidate should be comfortable working on both cross-platform applications using Flutter and native Android applications using Kotlin.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Kotlin.
Develop responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces based on UI/UX designs and business requirements.
Build reusable Flutter widgets and modular application components.
Develop and maintain native Android functionality using Kotlin when required.
Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Handle JSON data, API authentication, file uploads/downloads, and third-party service integrations.
Implement application state management using solutions such as Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, GetX, or equivalent frameworks.
Work with local storage solutions such as SQLite, Hive, SharedPreferences, or similar technologies.
Implement push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging or similar services.
Integrate services such as Google Maps, location services, camera, file picker, QR/barcode scanning, and payment gateways as required.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Handle app permissions, background services, deep linking, and device-specific functionalities.
Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve application crashes, performance issues, and production defects.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
Participate in requirement discussions and provide technical recommendations.
Perform unit testing and support QA/UAT activities.
Manage application builds, signing, versioning, and release processes.
Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
Maintain source code using Git-based repositories and follow proper branching and pull request practices.

Required Technical Skills

3–5 years of professional mobile application development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
Strong experience in Kotlin and native Android development.
Good understanding of Android SDK and Android application lifecycle.
Experience integrating REST APIs.
Good knowledge of JSON serialization/deserialization.
Experience with Flutter state management frameworks.
Experience with Firebase, including:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Crashlytics
- Analytics
- Authentication
Experience with local databases such as SQLite or Hive.
Knowledge of asynchronous programming and API communication.
Experience working with device capabilities such as:
- GPS/Location
- Camera
- Gallery
- File handling
- Notifications
- Background services
Good knowledge of Git and source control practices.
Understanding of Material Design and responsive mobile UI development.
Experience debugging and optimizing mobile application performance.

Preferred Skills

Experience building enterprise-level or SaaS mobile applications.
Experience with multi-tenant applications.
Knowledge of offline-first application architecture and synchronization.
Experience with Google Maps and geofencing.
Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication.
Knowledge of clean architecture, MVVM, MVC, or similar design patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Java will be an advantage.
Experience publishing and managing production applications in the Google Play Store.
